Ornament of Hope®

This marks the 16 year that the Augusta & Thomson Communities have collaborated with Easter Seals to feature one of the many historically significant sites while raising funds to support Easter Seals services.

 This year’s ornaments are The Confederate Powder Works Chimney of Augusta and The Sweetwater Baptist Church of Thomson, GA.  Our great appreciation comes to the Sons of the Confederate Veterans Camp #158 of Augusta and the Sweetwater Baptist Church for allowing us to use their amazing site.

Thanks also to Century 21 for their continued support of this event.  They started it with us sixteen years ago and were the sole sales force in the early years.  Now we have several local merchants that sell the ornaments for us and make it available to the public throughout the city. 

The Ornament of Hope® is a beautiful 24 carat gold over brass ornament designed by the Charleston Mint Company of Brevard, NC.
